Cooper

Cooper is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being near him. A handsome 3.5-year-old Vizsla–Lab mix, he’s equal parts brain and heart. Smart as a whip, Cooper has already mastered his basic commands and shows off impressive house manners. He’s also a true gentleman when it comes to treats — during his photo session, he accepted
every bite with the kind of polite grace that makes you fall in love a little faster.

But don’t let his calm sweetness fool you — Cooper also loves adventure. Car rides are one of his favorite pastimes, and when the day winds down, he happily curls up on the sofa with his people. He’s a social guy who gets along beautifully with other dogs and thrives with structure and companionship.

His perfect match? A home without young children where his intelligence and affectionate nature can really shine. Cats are still a question mark for him, so if you have one, a careful introduction would be needed.

Cooper may not have found his forever family yet, but when he does, they’ll be getting an incredible companion for life.  Thank you to Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue for giving Cooper his chance at a happy ending.
