Lucky didn’t just find a home. He found his person.
At 13 years old, and carrying the kind of story that too often gets overlooked. In April 2025, he came through Urban Dog Studio for photos as part of the Pawsitive Exposure Project, where his personality; gentle, steady, quietly resilient finally had a chance to be seen. Lucky waited in foster through Heidi’s Legacy giving him a soft place to land while he waited for something more permanent.
Lucky first appeared on Heather Leigh’s Rescues in Action in June 2025 with Heidi’s Legacy and waited.
Then came his second appearance on Rescues in Action in 2026, thanks to Kelly with Heidi’s Legacy. That moment mattered. Someone was watching.
Yesterday, that someone became his forever.
A woman saw Lucky. Not just his age, not his past but him. And she chose him.
