Meet Mandalorian

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, you’ll understand Mandalorian. This sweet lab mix puppy watched all six of his siblings get adopted during a shelter event in Alabama. One by one, they left. And he stayed behind. Alone. He was the last one. Then he landed on the euthanasia list.

But fate had other plans.

Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue stepped in at the last moment, and Mando found himself on a journey to Florida and into the arms of a kind foster family. He arrived just a few days before his portrait session at Urban Dog Studio, unsure of what to expect but bravely wagging his tail anyway.

Mandalorian is sweet. Shy. Soft. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention — he quietly hopes for it. His different angles make him look like a different dog altogether, and somehow that makes him even more endearing. He’s playful when he feels safe, and his foster says he’s starting to bloom.

He loves dogs, is okay with cats, and fine with kids. He even sleeps with a stuffed duck.

Mandalorian may not be the first dog that runs up to you in a crowd. But give him a little time, and he’ll run straight into your heart.
