Wilbur

Wilbur is a Shar-Pei mix puppy who clearly didn’t get the “aloof and dignified” memo. At 25 pounds, he’s like a pocket-sized golden retriever wearing a Shar-Pei hoodie—outgoing, bouncy, and more interested in your snack stash than your personal space.

He play-bows at strangers like a tiny, wrinkly butler, politely demanding you drop everything and play with him. And that serious, squishy face? It’s just a decoy for the goofball that lives underneath.

Wilbur is dog-friendly, kid-approved, and cat-restricted (per his own request).

Can you believe this adorable pup was on the euthanasia list at a shelter?  It was likely due to space and is a clear symptom of the challenges being faced these days by all shelters and rescues.  Thankfully, he was rescued by Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue, who always goes the extra mile for their pups.  Wilbur is ready to take a break from studio model life and start his full-time job as your best friend. (though we hope he’ll come back to the studio for a follow-up shoot one day!)
